Alvara frá Hömluholti (7.83) is very good four gaited competition mare, with good tölt, good movement and forward willing. She's daughter of, the four gaited stallion, Dynur frá Hvammi (Total 8.47) and Alvör frá Hvammi. Alvara was in a breeding show 5 years old and got 7,83 in total; 8 for tölt, 8.5 for trot, 9 for gallop, 8,5 for walk and 8.5 for spirit. In B Class she has, for example, got 8.27.

At Máni íþróttamót, 25.04'14, Alvara was in the 1st and 2nd place in tölt T7, 1st Class, she received 6.20 in Preliminaries and 6.33 in Finals.
At Fákur Reykjavíkurmót, the 7th to 12th of May, Alvara took the third place in tölt T7, Open Class and received 6.27 in Preliminaries and 6.33 in Finals.
At Sprettur Gæðingakeppni 2014, the 31st of May to 1st of June, Alvara received 8.18 in B Class Gæðinga, Preliminaries.
